Daniel Schild, Head of Investment Office Commodities, is responsible for quantitative analysis and development of commodity strategies and portfolio management. He is member of the executive board of CYD Research, and has been instrumental in building and expanding the company from the beginning. He has many years of experience in the commodity and financial industry and also a competent knowledge of information technology.

Daniel Schild received a Master of Science in Business and Economics with a strong focus on Finance at the University of Basel.

Dr. Daniel Seiler is Chief Investment Officer of the Vescore Group. He looks back on many years of experience in the area of global asset allocation and holds a doctorate on the topic of strategic and tactical asset allocation. Daniel Seiler received his master's degree in Environmental Science at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology and earned a Master and his PhD degree in Economics with focus on financial and capital markets at the University of St. Gallen (HSG).

Dr. Stefan Wittmann is COO and heads group-wide operational functions. He looks back on comprehensive experience in the planning and organisation of operational processes and has had a leading role in this area since his arrival at Vescore. Before his employment at Vescore he carried out several years of research work at the Institute for Operations Research of the University of St. Gallen (HSG).

Stefan Wittmann studied at the Universities of Bielefeld and Iowa (USA), earned his Business degree and received his doctorate at the University of St. Gallen (HSG).

Prof. Dr. Heinz ZimmermannProf. Dr. Heinz Zimmermann, Partner and Academic Advisor

Prof. Heinz Zimmermann is a co-founder and academic advisor to CYD Research GmbH. Heinz Zimmermann is Professor of Financial Market Theory at the University of Basel. Until 2001 he was Professor of Finance at the University of St. Gallen (HSG) and headed the Swiss Institute of Banking and Finance. Heinz Zimmermann is joint editor of the Journal of Financial Markets and other academic journals. His academic work significantly contributes to applied financial market research and literature, particularly in the areas of asset pricing, risk management, derivatives and commodity theory.
